Supporting the Growth of JazzTales

JazzTales is proud to collaborate with arts organizations, funders, and community partners who believe in the power of storytelling, music, and education to inspire young audiences.

Through the support of these organizations, JazzTales has been able to create original stories, commission new music, expand educational programming, and bring high-quality performances to elementary school communities across North Carolina.

Grant Support

JazzTales has received funding and creative support from:

  • Jazz Road Grant

    • Supporting the development of new stories and original music for JazzTales performances.

South Arts

United Arts Council of Wake County

  • Grant support for educational arts programming and community engagement.

  • Received a Special Projects Grant from the North Carolina Arts Council

  • Partnered with Southern Pines Land & Trust to present an educational JazzTales performance

  • Delivered live storytelling, original jazz music, and animated visuals for students in the Southern Pines community

  • Expanded access to engaging arts experiences for elementary school audiences

With the support of our partners and funders, JazzTales continues to grow.
A new JazzTales story and original music developed through Jazz Road, will premiere in Knightdale, North Carolina in spring 2026. Following the premiere, both the original JazzTales program and the new work will be available for school performances and community presentations.
